Long time no see. It’s been a while since this beauty has popped back up on the virtual bidding pages of ebay. Thanks to ebay’er achimnelly, you now have a chance to get your hands on this forever ago sold-out evening purse from the famous Cherry Blossom Designer Handbag Collection, a product of the Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami collaboration. Loved it then and I still love it now.

Achimnelly recently tossed up this rare limited edition authentic Louis Vuitton Cherry Blossom Griotte designer bag on her ebay page with a buy it now price of $1,899. Sorry ebay watchers, there’s no waiting out this one to see how high the bidding goes – fixed price.

A simple yet fabulous clutch that will be a great addition to any evening-wear.

The bag is simple, dressed in silky satin and features a flap-over vintage inspired coin clasp kiss-lock closure which pops open to reveal a fresh pink satin lining and an embossed leather patch that reads “Bag Bubbles” – somebody please explain to me what that means because I’m stumped. The size is pretty spacious, measuring in at 9.5″ x 5.5″. You can find this DG purse at eluxury carrying a price of $455. What do you guys think? Is it worth it or a pass?

The wonderful people over at Tumi were so kind enough to send us a bag to review from their new collection, the Tumi Gemini Flap bag.

Today I checked out the other bags in this collection when I was at the mall, and discovered the assortment of Gemini bags: bucket bags, north/south totes, shoulder bags, and handbags. Available in green, honey brown, black or (my favorite) white. Price range is very reasonable, taking into consideration quality and function.

The bags in the Gemini collection by Tumi are great for everyday, comfortable and their shapes are classic. And this season’s colors are white, brown and bright green. I just got the large Gemini Flap Bag in green and although green bags usually don’t appeal to me, this one does. It is definitely a bag that will only come out of the closet for spring and summer though as it’s brightness doesn’t fit into any fall or winter color trends.

As for the bag itself, I absolutely love the shape and the two cute pockets in the front. there’s even a nice exterior back pocket for quick access to whatever. And the best part is the leather! It’s made from tumbled leather with vachetta trim and I must say that it is extremely soft and supple. What’s also great is the thick shoulder strap as it will take forever to wear. Featured inside are a nylon interior, a zippered pocket with a Tumi leather tag, a cell pocket and a key ring. Also, opening and closing the front flap and small pockets couldn’t be easier. The magnetic closure is so convenient and quick, yet secure as opposed to a buckle closure, which can be annoying to open and close constantly. With that said, the quality of the bag is definitely worth the $445 price tag!

Seriously, who ever would have thought to create a beach bag that transforms into a comfortable mat? That would be innovative designer Martin Margiela for MM6. And if you ask me, I think this is a wonderful idea for the upcoming summer. Now you can conveniently tote around your mat and carry all of your beach necessities without struggling to lug everything around. I think this is especially great for mothers because they could easily carry a load of beach toys for their kids and still be hands free. And if it get’s dirty, you can just throw it in the wash. I think this combo is a great alternative to carrying a separate tote and a mat.

The Convertible Terry Beach Bag by Margiela’s MM6 is made of soft plush terry cloth. There are two handles made of canvas for carrying or toting. There are zip closures on each side of the bag and when unzipped, it is elongated to create the perfect, comfy mat for basking in the sun. What’s also great are the two button tabs at the bottom which allow the bag to be adjusted when rolled up. So if you happen to be carrying less, you can make a little change to the size of the bag. As for the color, I’m not really a fan of yellow but I love this shade. You can get it for this summer for $235.
